Chart templates in AgenaTrader allow you to save your preferred chart settings and quickly apply them to other charts with ease. This feature helps you maintain consistency across different instruments and timeframes, ensuring a streamlined trading experience without the need to manually adjust settings each time.
When you save a chart template, the following settings are preserved:
Chart appearance, including colors, grid settings, and price styles.
Technical indicators and drawings to maintain your analysis framework.
Trading settings, such as DOM, QuickTrader buttons, and trade visualization options.
Timeframe and history settings, ensuring accurate market analysis.

Since drawing tools are instrument-specific, they are not included in chart templates to avoid unnecessary clutter when applying templates to different instruments.
To open a list of saved chart templates, you can:
Click the Chart Templates icon in the chart toolbar, or
Right-click in the charting area, then navigate to Settings → Chart Templates from the context menu
To load a previously saved template:
Right-click on the chart and select Settings → Chart Templates → Load.
Choose your desired template from the popup window.
You can also apply a template when creating a new chart, allowing you to instantly work with your preferred settings from the start.
By utilizing chart templates, you can significantly improve your workflow efficiency and focus more on trading rather than chart setup.
