Overview order connections
In AgenaTrader, you have the option to map out complex order constructs. For this, the order connections "IfDone", "OCO" (one cancels other) and "ORO" (one reduces other) are available for you.
IfDone is created using "ALT" and clicks on the first and the second order. OCO is created using "CTRL" and clicks on the first and second order. ORO is created using "CTRL" + "ALT" and clicks on the first and second order.
Supported versus locally simulated connections
Note:IfDone and ORO are only simulated locally in AgenaTrader, which means that the software must be running and connected to the broker in order to be able to send second order to the broker!
OCO connections are supported by several brokers - you can find the corresponding information on this in the online help under the respective broker. This has restrictions that should be taken into account, however: this only applies to single target orders. Order connections in multi-target settings are ORO connections and are therefore only simulated locally as displayed in log:
You will find information about which broker does support OCO, here in the online help under the respective broker was well as in Essential Informations-window, that pops up, when you create a new account connection. You need to read and accept this disclaimer:
